I wasn't really planning on writing something about this moisturizer, but here I am, writing a blog post about this moisturizer. I saw the empty pot and I kept it for my Finished, Used up and Empty and I was thinking about how this moisturizer performed and I decided to do write a blog post about it!

I bought this moisturizer in a drugstore called Kruidvat. There's tea tree in this moisturizer and it's suitable as daytime and nighttime moisturizer. It has a non-greasy formula and it's suitable for unclear skin (according to the packaging).

This moisturizer has a light consistency and is indeed not greasy. It's smells very strongly of tea tree. At first I didn't mind, but after a while I felt like it was a very strong scent and I didn't really enjoy using the moisturizer, while normally I like moisturizing my skin at night and in the morning, like it's a mini spa moment after which my skin feels refreshed and healthy.

The moisturizer comes in a dark, glass jar and contains 100 ml of product. When you only scoop out of the centre of the jar, the product will run down the jar slowly without leaving a single trace of product on the side, verrrie kleeen. But since it a glass jar, it's not ideal for traveling.

I bought this moisturizer because I needed a moisturizer and I didn't feel like spending a lot of money on moisturizer, so I bought this little gem which cost me about 3 euros that I could use as a nighttime and daytime moisturizer. First I didn't think much of the moisturizer, since it was just a budget, simple moisturizer, but after about a week or maybe two I noticed that my skin was very clear, without any red spots, I haven't seen my skin like that since forever.

I thought that my skin was looking so good because I finally had a good skincare routine (cleanse-tone-moisturize) and that it might be the Paula's Choice toner doing its work. However when I finished this moisturizer I used the Garnier SkinActive UltraLift line (the anti-aging one) and that one really was not a success for my skin. I bought that one because it was very cold outside and I thought my skin maybe needed extra moisture during the winter months and anti-aging moisturizers are most of the time very rich. But, boy, there's something in that moisturizer that my skin didn't like, because every time, right after I've applied the moisturizer, the skin on my face hurt like there were hundreds of mini bees stinging my face. After a few weeks I decided to not use the UltraLift line anymore and I gave the moisturizers to my mom.

Then, I started using the Garnier SkinActive HydraBomb line and my cheeks got less red. At that point I realized how my cheeks were not red at all when I used this tea tree moisturizer and how good it probably was for my skin. It didn't make my skin feel super soft like a baby's butt, but it made my skin look so clear that I didn't feel a little self-conscious when I wasn't wearing any foundation.

So, if you're Dutch or from Belgium and you're looking for a good, simple and cheap moisturizer: try this one! I started using this moisturizer in August and I finished it exactly December 31st, so it takes about 3,5 month to finish the jar using this moisturizer twice a day.

But if you're not a fan of the smell of tea tree, you might want to pass.
