MASCARA COMBO: Max Factor Clump Defy Extensions + Lancôme Hypnôse Drama

A few blog posts ago I was talking about the Max Factor False Lash Effect Clump Defy Extensions and as you know I always use a combination of two mascaras. I reviewed the Clump Defy mascara on its own and now it's time to show you how it performs in combination with the Lancôme Hypnôse Drama on top! It's almost March, which means that its almost time to toss out the Hypnôse Drama and open up a new mascara to combine the Clump Defy with, but first, let me show you how it performs as a team with the Max Factor Clump Defy Extensions!
You know how I think the Clump Defy doesn't give enough volume and you know how much volume the Hypnôse Drama gives, right? So these two are pretty much a match made in mascara heaven!

Let's see the pics 😄!

Two coats of Max Factor Clump Defy Extensions

One coat of Lancôme Hypnôse Drama
As you can see the Hypnôse Drama adds volume to the lashes and gives them a bit more oomph. I didn't really had a good lash day on the pictures above, but let's keep it real, we all have days that our makeup isn't turning out the way we want right?

To show you how it looks when it's less messy, in my opinion, I made pictures of my lashes on a good lash day:

Two coats of Max Factor Clump Defy
And with a coat of the Hypnôse Drama on top
Up close it might look clumpy, but in real life my lashes were looking wispy and pretty. I liked this combination of mascara, but I can tell that the Lancôme Hypnôse Drama was starting to dry out. The brush wasn't gliding smoothly through my lashes and the coat of mascara went on almost clumpy. It's a good thing that it's almost March and time to open up a new mascara! 😉

I like the fact that the Clump Defy is a separating mascara and the Hypnôse Drama a volumizing one.
This way I can have big voluminous lashes that are not all clumped together.
